I'm Kelli Hoyt—a strategic designer, thought partner, and maker based in Portland, Oregon.
For more than twenty years, I've helped people communicate ideas that matter. I do my best work where strategy, story, and design come together—making sense of complexity and giving important ideas clear, useful, and beautifully considered form.
Through Side Porch Studios, I help organizations bring complex ideas into focus, while also creating handmade paper goods that celebrate the beauty of everyday life.
I also continue my work with The Liberty Collective, where I've spent the past several years helping executive teams build healthier, more human organizations. Together with my sisters, I'm co-author of our forthcoming book on leadership—a culmination of years of research, facilitation, and practice.
My craft is strategic design. My vocation is helping people see more clearly.
I believe beauty is never separate from meaning. Whether I'm shaping a keynote, designing a publication, or painting a small watercolor landscape, I begin in the same place—with attention.
I’m interested in that moment when an idea becomes understandable and complexity gives way to clarity—when something thoughtfully made clicks into place and beauty makes it easier to see.
